Competitors in the 2017 running of The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, brought to you by Gran Turismo, will have an increased opportunity for exposure through a joint effort between the PPIHC and Windstar Studios.
Entrants choosing to film their own in-car footage will be required to provide PPIHC Officials with the footage upon completion of the competitor’s run on Race Day. After each competitor takes the checkered flag on Race Day, a staff member/representative will collect the memory card from the on-board camera (provided by the competitor) which captured each competitor’s full-course run. The in-car video from the 2017 Race will be uploaded to the Official PPIHC YouTube Channel for broadcast on Race Day. All footage will be transferred to the PPIHC for storage and then returned to the competitor for personal use.
Additionally, the Windstar film crew may conduct a short interview with each competitor to be included with the on-board footage. All memory cards will be returned to competitors immediately after upload.
These videos will be promoted through PPIHC social media channels and will be available on the PPIHC Website and YouTube Channel.
PPIHC is not responsible for lost or damaged PPIHC cards.
Competitors who do not finish the race will be sent a notice by email approximately one week after the race for upload instructions. The PPIHC will provide an uplink for transfer of these in-car video assets.
