A van will be available to transport competitor gear from the Start Line area to the Summit of Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain on Race Day. If you have any gear you want to place in the van, it is important that you mark the gear with your name and race number. All gear must be placed in the Olson Plumbing & Heating van before 7:00 a.m. on Race Day. The van will be parked on driver’s right just uphill of the car pits at 5:45 a.m., and will depart for the Summit at 7:00 a.m. sharp. After the race is completed, the van will follow the parade of competitors down to the Start Line area. Any items still in the van will be placed by the VIP tent after the race.
All motorcycle teams are encouraged to load stands into the competitor gear van going to the Summit on Race Day. The use of stands will allow all motorcycles to be placed in one area and in turn will allow maximization of the limited space available to park four-wheeled vehicles.
Do not use the van for tool boxes and/or extra car parts.
The PPIHC is not responsible for any items placed in the van. It is the competitor’s responsibility to retrieve their items.
