The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb Brought to you by Gran Turismo (PPIHC) is pleased to announce the continued partnership with local engineering firm KS Technologies (KST). New for 2016, the PPIHC app is now free for all Apple iOS and Android users.

The PPIHC app, available for mobile devices running Apple’s iOS 9+ and Android Version 5.0+ mobile operating systems, has numerous features to keep global race fans informed before, during, and after the race.  Users can favorite drivers, allowing them to receive timely push notifications to their mobile device as their competitor race to the Summit. Section times, driver profiles, course map information, and event information is all available in an improved app based on last year’s offering.

The PPIHC is a long-standing tradition in Colorado Springs and the second oldest motor sports event in the United States. An annual event since 1916, 2016 marks the 94th Running of the “Race to the Clouds” and the 100th Anniversary of this historic event. The 2016 race will take place on Sunday, June 26th with race related events happening throughout the prior week. Fan Fest, with participation of 35,000+ spectators, will kick off the celebration on the evening of Friday, June 24th.

“The hill climb is one of Colorado Springs’ oldest annual traditions and is known by automotive enthusiasts from across the globe,” stated Megan Leatham, PPIHC Executive Director.  “We are thrilled to have been able to form a partnership with the bright minds of KS Technologies and improve the fan experience for fans on the mountain and across the globe.”
