Wednesday, May. 20 2015

The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb Brought to you by Gran Turismo is pleased to announce it has been granted 50 additional tent only camping permits from the Pike National Forrest and Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain that will add 9 Mile as a spectator area for this summer’s 93rd Running of the Race to the Clouds.

“Camping used to be permitted on the mountain throughout the summer but now the only day it’s allowed is the day before the race,” stated PPIHC Executive Director, Megan Leatham. “Since camping on Pikes Peak is such a rare and unique opportunity, we’re extremely excited to be able to offer 50 new camping permits for 9 Mile while creating an additional spectator area for the 2015 race.”

Each camping permit is $150 and passes for Glen Cove have already sold out. Permits are still available for the Halfway Picnic Grounds, Ski Area and 9 Mile (tent only) camping areas.
