Colorado Springs, CO (March 12, 2015) – Calling all racing enthusiasts.  Pikes Peak Racing (PPR) just announced Randy Pobst, Motor Trend Magazine’s track driver and two-time North American Touring Car Champion, will be driving PPR’s car in the 93rd Running of The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.

“PPR was established in August 2014 with one goal in mind, to be the best of the best.” said owner Rob Brooks. “As an enthusiast of modern day performance machines (both consumer and business owner), PPR is founded on core racing principles with staff that work and participate in a wide array of racing events.”  “Bringing Randy Pobst to drive for us in the PPIHC shows a new competitor has emerged and we are hell bent on winning.”

Pobst will be driving PPR’s Nissan GTR in the Time Attack 2 Class where cars are mostly stock but allowed to make safety, suspension and braking modifications.  “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to join Pikes Peak Racing and Rob Brooks to return to the PPIHC for a third time” said Pobst.  “This world-renowned event inspires my competitive urges to their ‘peak’ and I know Rob and his PPR team will put forth a first-class effort.”

Randy continues to be fascinated with open-road racing like the PPIHC. “Here the challenge is you, the car, the road. You leave the line at three-minute intervals. No other cars to worry about, no others to punt you off, nor to gauge your performance against. It’s much more raw than a racetrack, which seems so sanitized in comparison,” he said.

Look for Pikes Peak Racing and Pobst on race day, Sunday, June 28th.  Visit for more information.
