November 1st- 2012 Registration Opens
January 14th- 2013 Registration Closes
February 4th- Competitors are informed of their acceptance or declination into the 2013 race
February 4th- Competitors are informed of any qualification rules or notifications
February 15th- Deadline for competitors to withdrawal from the 2013 race with a refund
PPIHC must receive your request for entry and payment of fees by January 14th, 2012. PPIHC will not review any application without payment. All registration must be completed online.
The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb application procedure consists of several steps that must be completed before the applicant can be accepted to compete. The Race Committee will not review any requests that are not complete or inaccurate.
1. Applications that do not include race history will not be reviewed for acceptance.
2. Application must be filled out online. No mailed in registrations will be reviewed.
3. Applications typed in ALL CAPITALS will NOT be accepted.
4. All fields on the application pertaining to your class or division must be complete as well as your personal information, date of birth, insurance etc.
5. Upon request, you may be required to provide a photo of your vehicle.
6. Payment- Make sure to complete the credit card information as your entry will not be accepted until payment is received. If your application is not accepted by the race committee, your money will be refunded.
2013 Competitor Fees
Car Divisions (excluding exhibition): $1,400
Bike Divisions (excluding sidecar and exhibition powersport): $700
Side Car: $1,000
Exhibition Powersport: $1,200
Post Acceptance (If accepted, the following forms are due by June 1, 2013)
Competitor Forms (due prior to race week)
1. Physical Form (due June 1, 2013)
The Physical Examination Form needs to be completed and signed by your physician. If you have a current license from another sanctioning body, ie. SCCA, FIA, you will not need to complete the Physical Examination Form. You will be asked to show proof of this document at registration.
2. Media Form (due April 1, 2013)
3. Photograph (due April 1, 2013)
E-mail or mail one current head shot that is a minimum of 2″ X 2″. You can submit photos via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or mail them to the address below.
Race Week Documentation (to be submitted during race week registration)
2. Medical Insurance
All drivers/riders must have medical insurance at the time of any PPIHC sanctioned event to participate. Copies of proof of insurance must be provided at registration.
3. Driver’s License
All drivers/riders must have a current driver’s license. Copies of licenses will be made at registration.
