Photography - Media and Licensed Photography

Many of the images that you see on the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb web site are available for media, licensed photography or stock usage, although some images may not be utilized for all purposes. In addition, our partner, Artemis Images, will be adding 2010 content as it becomes available. We are happy to search for that "perfect image" no matter what the request. Artemis Images provides research of our partner archives, such as the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, for no charge.  All images are available in a high resolution digital format.  Please check out the galleries below and if you have any questions or requirements, please contact:

Art Hillis used number 49 in 1948 and did not finish the race.  In 1949 he reversed his number and improved his luck.  He is shown here taking the checkered flag at the 14,110 foot summit for an 18:53.8 15th place finish. This photo is part of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb archive.
